PostgreSQL Tools¶

Third-party PostgreSQL tools you can run alongside Muppy. Unlike the rest of this section, these are not managed by Muppy — you install and run them yourself.

pgBadger — analyse PostgreSQL logs and produce an HTML report on query performance, locks, checkpoints and connections.

Muppy also ships built-in tooling that is documented elsewhere:

PostgreSQL Activity & Locks Monitoring — live sessions, locks and blocking locks, from the cluster form.
pg_stat_statements — installed from the cluster's Helpers tab.
