Configuration¶
This section documents the entries of Muppy's Configuration menu — the settings that apply to the whole instance rather than to one Host or one application.
The Muppy / Configuration menu holds:
| Entry | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Vaults | Credentials Muppy uses to reach third parties (git providers, registries, clouds). |
| Templates | Reusable configuration templates (systemd units, Traefik apps, …). |
| Ressources Allocation | Allocators and resource pools used to place new servers. |
| Users | Muppy user management — create user wizard, users, companies. |
| SSH Keys / Generate SSH Key | The keys Muppy uses to connect to the Hosts it manages. |
| CIDRs / Network Ports / Firewall Rules | Named building blocks for Host firewall rules. |
| Server Types | Hardware / instance profiles used when provisioning. |
| S3 Buckets | Object storage for backups and database copies. |
| Tags / Qualifiers | Classification used across every Muppy model. |
Two more configuration subjects live outside this menu because they are set per queue, under Muppy / Qs / Queues:
